JEKS

After swimming through different music styles in the nineties such as hiphop, breakbeat, progressive, house, techno, funk, yes, even some 2step and drum 'n bass, Jeks created an eclectic style which he still uses.
From floorfilling tunes to energetic sounds and climaxbuilding scratches and looping is what he manages as the best. Jeks refers to a 'minimaltec' sound and that is how you could describe it. Mastering it all, straight on, other times surfing the trains on musical-trails, bashing up, echo-ing and looping.
His productions can be heard on his myspace page and are a blend of mnml, techno and even some electrohouse.
As guest he performed at Belgium's most leading clubs like Decadance, La Rocca, Catacombes, Cherrymoon, Factory, Ckomilfoo, Montini ... and international in Edemclub, Zoo Club, ... Endless is the list of events; Cityparade, Big Bounce, Komprez, Red Avenue, Eject, Forest Festival, Play... to name a few.
His sets abroad (France, Greece, Spain,...) were reasons to keep on building up and were noticed by international events, clubs & promotors, providing more energy to spoil on worldwide dancefloors.
Born as a dj, raised as an organiser! Jeks just likes to give party's :) Next to a tight agenda, he manages to find the time to organise events such as Forest Festival (www.forestfestival.be). Together with the hole crew he thanks you for always being supportive, giving opportunities to talented people.
Jeks was on the same bill as: Trish Vaneynde, Fred Nasen, Soul Phonic, Ed&Kim, Youri Parker, Tom Dazing, Smos&Baby Bee, Michael Forzza, Redhead, Marcus, Gols, Diego Parra, Cole, Jamie G, Joachim Spiedt, Pete Howl, Jensen & Bugsy, Spacid, Fabrice Lig and many more...

FUBAR

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. You're not as fat as you imagine.
Don't worry about the future. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind.
Do one thing everyday that scares you.
Don't be reckless with other people's hearts. Don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.Don't waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind. Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you succeed in doing this, tell me how. Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements. Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. Get plenty of calcium. Be kind to your knees, you'll miss them when they're gone. What ever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either.
Enjoy your body. Use it every way you can. Read the directions, even if you don't follow them. Do NOT read beauty magazines.
Get to know your parents, you never know when they'll be gone for good. Be nice to your siblings. Understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on.
Stretch. Sing. Travel. Dance.
Even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.
Accept certain inalienable truths. Prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too will get old, and when you do you'll fantasize that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders. Respect your elders. Don't expect anyone else to support you.
Don't mess too much with your hair.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
Trust me on the sunscreen...

PITCHFORKERS

It has all started in the early '30s when our Grandparents (check photo!) saw the light of the day. Our Grandpa, farmer to the backbone, had a huge collection of pitchforks. He was quite obsessed and he 'd loved us to become just like him a die hard farmer and especially to continue and blow-up his collection. With intentionally rade he called us "pitchforkers". We guess it's time to realize his big dream in our own manner. There are many resemblances between those two sides - first you produce, then you play or eat your productions - but in this 21st century it's better to become a dj than harvest carrots...
